Matthew Lessner is a writer/ director/ musician/ amateur geologist originally from the small town of Roseburg, OR USA.

His films have screened and won awards at numerous film festivals worldwide, including Sundance, SXSW and Clermont-Ferrand. His work has been featured on Wholphin DVD Magazine, Canal +, PBS, iTunes, and MTV2/ U. He has directed content for a diverse roster of clients including Universal, JWT, Domino Records, Vice Records, Secretly Canadian and the BBC.

He has released two musical projects on Stunned Records and collects rare jem stones and priceless Bronze Age antiquities.

Matthew lives and works between Los Angeles and New York City and is currently in post-production on his first feature film, The Woods/ Tupac's Ghost.
